Atul Tatke
Co-Founder & CEO

Atul has over 15 years of experience in technology and technology management. He has worked as a business automation expert in industries like Healthcare, Financial, Media & Publishing.

Previously Atul worked as a technology consultant in various New England based prestigious businessses like Partners Healthcare, Fallon Health, Fidelity. At Partners Healthcare he was responsible for designing and implementing Business Process Management tool for their Institutional Review Board (IRB) processes. At Fallon Health he led the technical team who designed and built a consent-enabled secure Health Information Exchange (HIE), currently operational in Central Massachusetts. At Fidelity, as a senior consultant he worked as a mentor and solution architect for a group who embraced Microsoft .NET technology at very early stage and succesfully implemented a system which takes care of employee incentive shares and stocks.

As a co-founder of Sognus Inc. a Massachusetts based software services company, Atul helped it's consulting business grow and helped various starups in New England area. Some engagements involved Product conceptulaization to successful implementation in Healthcare and Fitness market.

Atul holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Maharashtra, India, and a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Boston University. He is an active member of TiE Boston. He has lead various key positions in TiE Boston's annual conference, TiECon East over 8 years.



Kris Subramanian

Co-Founder & CTO

Kris provides the technology leadership at HummingBytes and has over 15 years of experience in telecommunications, messaging & telephony industry. At HummingBytes he and his team built the complete telephony and messaging stack on which the HummingBytes cloud runs. His in-depth knowledge on VOIP & messaging technology and a keen sense for working with enterprise applications has enabled HummingBytes to become a cloud based communication solution provider for healthcare institutions.

More recently Kris has consulted with several startups in architecturing their Voice solutions using VOIP (SIP, H.232) technology. His expertise in telephony was leveraged into building cloud based solutions for several clients.

Prior to founding HummingBytes, Kris worked as a senior architect in the R&D team of a large contact center company in Florida, where he was responsible for creating innovative solutions in the telephony space for various fortune 500 clients like AT&T, American Express, Motorola, Bell South, Chase, Bank Of America etc. His research focus has been in telephony technologies like TDM, ISDN, PBX etc. and under his leadership his team built contact center solutions like Predictive dialers, ACD Queues, Unified voice and data queues, IVRs etc. from ground up.

Kris has a Bachelors degree from Bombay University and a Masters degree from Univesity of South Alabama. Kris is a TiE member in silicon valley and has worked closely with TiE to provide them with various voice and mobile solutions for TiECons and TiE networking meetings.



Pam Randhawa

Advisor, HummingBytes
CEO and Founder, Empiriko

Pam Randhawa has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare and life sciences industries. Having worked in strategy, product management, consulting and marketing, her specialized knowledge of market analysis, strategic planning, business development and product management enables her to successfully guide new product evolution and strategic development. In her current role as CEO and Founder of Empiriko, Ms. Randhawa is working to develop a Clinical-Intelligent Technology platform and applications that bridge information gaps throughout the drug discovery, development and patient outcomes life cycle.

Prior to founding Empiriko, Ms. Randhawa served as VP of Strategic Development at Sermo, where she was responsible for identifying and developing new markets in the areas of clinical development, analytics and international expansion. Prior to joining Sermo, she served as VP of Global Marketing at Phase Forward (now Oracle), where she was responsible for the planning and execution of the company's global marketing strategy. Previously, Ms. Randhawa held senior roles at McKesson Corporation where she directed analytical development and product management, and effectively leveraged healthcare longitudinal data to advise managed care companies in assessing the effectiveness of various therapies, reducing healthcare costs, and ensuring the quality of care provided to healthcare plan members. She also served as an independent consultant to the State of Ohio, Department of Health, where she led a statewide taskforce for the Health Status of Ohioans for the State Health Plan.

Ms. Randhawa is a TiE charter member and currently serves on the Advisory Boards of many companies. She holds a Bachelors Degree in economics from the University of Rajasthan, India, and a Masters Degree in public management from Carnegie Mellon University. She served on the MIT blackjack team as a player (cardcounter) and an investor



Srihari Kumar

Advisor, HummingBytes
CEO and Founder, LeadFormix

Srihari has been a co-founder or early employee of a string of successful Silicon Valley startups, including VXtreme (acquired by Microsoft), Yodlee (acquired in part by Warburg Pincus), InMage Systems (the largest independent Continuous Data Protection provider), and RingCube (winner of the 2009 Product of the Year for Desktop Virtualization). Srihari was a key member of the team that built the first version of Windows Media Server and Windows Media Player at Microsoft, and invented the concept of hypervideo for which he holds the patent. Srihari also worked as a Computer Science Researcher for SRI (Stanford) International, Philips Research, and the UCSD Computer Science Department.

Srihari earned a BS from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Chennai, an MS in Computer Science from Washington University, and an MBA with honors from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
